Would anyone believe you if you mention HR gets bullied by employees and it's not always the other way round?
A whole ‘HR’, Almighty ‘HR’…aren't HR's humans like everyone else?
You've probably seen the bullying trend in boarding schools, but what people forget is: Bullying is beyond a school setting, bullying also exists in our work spaces.
And it's usually the responsibility of HR to tackle these issues, but what happens when HR is the person getting bullied?
Don't believe me? Let me share some surprising statistics:
82% of the HR professionals who participated in an online survey stated they have been bullied or harassed in the workplace
A third of them were bullied by an employee who they were involved in an HR issue with.
A staggering 48% of those who responded said they were being bullied or harassed by their immediate line manager.
Of those who have experienced being bullied or harassed, 83% experienced this verbally in person. The rest were either bullied or harassed over the phone, by email or had rumours spread about them to another colleague.

What's the solution? Although there's never a one-size-fits-all answer to topics like these, I saw an article that highlighted superb solutions.
